Final Picture Day

I promise no more half naked pics of myself but here is what the people want.
I'm done with the full program for the third time and will be on to something else. Most likely triathlon training. Enjoy the before and after montage

We're twins...actually we're triplet, although we all want to be PacMans. I have successfully graduated round 3 of P90X. I completed it on Saturday with a final Core Synergistics that burned me up good! The goal was 18 Prison push ups and I did it...however, I did not get 18 done before the time allotted. I was just starting the 18th when the buzzer sounded. I did have the strength to finish the 18 total prisons and I did it. That's 54 total pushups with knee in, knee in, jump up.
Not sure what I'm going to do but if my day after graduation is any indication, I ran 8 miles, it's going to be intense. Looking for the next best thing.

It was a nice feeling to not set the alarm and not workout this morning. Rest is important!

17 Prison Push ups

There are a few things that you have to know about this workout series and a few things all people are measured by in the eyes of HHH and the Iceman. Prison Push Ups is the single biggest differentiators in the entire program. Adam, the extremely fit Dancer boy with half a percent of body fat gets 18 done in 1:27 seconds. HHH got 18 on Sunday. I did 17 and although I'm disappointed, I did not have 18 in me. I'll try one more time on Saturday and then pack it up for a while!

Regression

Woke up after a week of not getting much sleep and a night of even less sleep due to dog sitting for a friend and man did I struggle. I started out Back and Bis with a vengence. 16 Wide grip free form and 6 more with the stool, but when it came to curls, my arms were tired. I'm looking forward to the end of this set. Man am I beat.

Update to my post last night

I woke up late this morning and allowed myself to sleep in. The Body needs to repair as much as it needs to build. I want to update my post from last night because as I look back on this I'll want to remember that although I merely matched the total Push up count from Week 10, I did have some breakthroughs and improvements that don't just show in the numbers. For instance, to start this workout, there are the slow count push ups and for the last year I have never been able to pace myself with Tony's counting through the entire workout. Last night I matched him and felt strong, it's pretty amazing feeling to be able to do 12 pushups at that slow count, not only that but I then did 20 fast pushups to finish that set. I increased my weight to 25's on most of the other exercises, I did 32 Floor Flys, and I got 20 clap push ups in! I was pretty beat afterwards and also realized something from a vanity perspective. My midsection is all but transformed to that of a slim dude. I may not see Eye popping abs like they show you on the infomercial but for me to stand sideways, not suck in my gut at all, and still see a slim waist that is achievement.
