I promise no more half naked pics of myself but here is what the people want.
I'm done with the full program for the third time and will be on to something else. Most likely triathlon training. Enjoy the before and after montage
Icee out!

I did a Yoga program on the beach this morning, using my iPhone. Not exactly Yoga X but basically the same poses in a bit of a different cadence and order. It felt good and I may have found a Yoga Program to do when not xing all the time.
Aloha! Well it's Thursday morning and I'm about to head down to the gym for Back and Biceps. On Tuesday I blew by 200 pushups to get 206 total for chest tri shoulders, that's a full 15 more than the last time and my goal was 200 for the day. A very cool thing happened, I walked into the gym at 6:30 and there was a guy on a mat doing Core Synergistics. Here's the exchange that followed:
Wow, fun to be back doing the Beach workout! I had a moment of self love and admiration this morning when I caught a glimpse of myself stretching before the workout. I'm pretty much working out shirtless now as my shirts are all too big for me and bother me...also I'm very homoerotically in love with myself. Anyway, I was doing the stretch where you press your palms together in front of you and round out your shoulders, basically the opposite of this and I noticed that my mid-section actually bent with the curve of my back at that time. I've always seen a little over-hang and some belly showing but today it was pure core baby!

Someone is 10 days away from some serious Peacocking! The wife and I have been itching to take a little R&R and I came across a deal we couldn't pass up. Anyway, long story short, I'm finally not afraid to be walking around with my shirt off.

Well Well Well, This week has been fun! Monday Chest SHoulders and Tris, ARX, and a 4 mile run. Tuesday off. Wednesday, Back and Bis and 4 mile run and more importantly. Picture Day! It's been exactly a year between these photos and I'm excited that my 30 day pics for this round of the X are close to where I was at the end of round 2. That means there is unlimited Upside Potential. Without further adieu here they are in a full series slideshow.
Wow, I can't believe we're at the end of week 3 already. I have one more workout to go, Legs and Back, then break day on Saturday. I ran this morning for 5 miles and got in ARX in it's entirety before the run. Hands in the air the entire time. My tailbone feels great!
I ran 8 miles yesterday, no problemo. This morning I decided to do my doubles Back to Back and performed Chest and Back followed by a 5 mile run in the rain. So far, throughout this round of P90X I've run a total of 58.3 miles as well as performing a full schedule of the X. My stamina and energy is pretty solid and I'm certain I will see some dramatic results after "Graduation". Today was also a big day in terms of breakthroughs, much faster this time around than the prior two rounds. I started this workout just over weeks ago and my totals were as follows:
This Pic is from February 3rd 2009. I went back through last year's progress pics and got a kick out of where I started and where I am now. Considering a year ago I wouldn't even think about doing more than 3 pull ups and got winded after a 3 mile 30 minute jog, I am excited to see where my progress takes me this time. Got up at 4:30 this morning just raring to go! Did Ab Ripper X and talk about ripping it, we had burritos last night and suffice it to say the living room smelled of burritos this morning. Went out with Lucy for my 5 mile jog and will be doing Legs and Back this evening! I will be sleeping in on Saturday, and by sleeping in, I mean with both kids in the bed by 6:00 am watching Dora or Handy Manny. I will post some updated pics in February to see the real difference a year makes.
I'm not sure how Colt McCoy's arm felt the other night but my legs are no longer feeling anything. Legs and Back is one of the most intense workouts in this whole series. Plyo- Core Synergistics and Legs and Back never get easier. Good news to report; this is my third time through P90x and I've kept copious notes for the first two rounds so I can see what I've done as a gauge of my strength. I did more standard pull ups today than I did week 1 of round 2. It brought my total number of pull ups down a bit but I'm really pushing myself to improve my ability to do pull ups. Anyway, I didn't get it in on Friday so I did it first thing Saturday morning and will be finishing my week with Wesley and his outrageous heart rate tomorrow.
I've got good news and great news. First the Good news, I'm very regular when it comes to Bowl movements, however, they've been hardening in the last week and I'm now to the point of pushing out rabbit pellets with great force! The Great news is I'm beating my alarm up and out of bed before 4:50 every morning. My plan was to get Plo in this morning and started out well with ARX from yesterday as, no PacMan, I'm not able to get it all in yet in Back to Back doubles. I did 94% of ARX today as this is an area that saw limited action in my time away, I will have to get Plyo in this evening as I was not able to get er donw this morning. I now have the complete body soreness that I grew so fond of last year.
Alright stop collaborate and listen! Icee's back with a brand new invention! It called Doubles My Way Bitches. Today I did my first Double session back to back and by that I mean, I did my lifting workout, today was Shoulders and Arms and then I ran for 40 mins with my dog. Talk about brutal, it was tough but I made it through and I will be doing this type of workout 3 days a week this time. The P90X Doubles plan calls for following the classic plan through week 4 then adding Cardio in week 5, 3 days a week through completion. I'm going to be doing cardio 3 days a week through the whole 90 days and we'll see what happens. I weighed in before my first workout last week at 208. Up Slightly from where I finished my last full session of P90x but not bad in the grand scheme of life. My goal for the next 90 days is simple, be accountable, be healthy, and finish another round of P90X with cardio mixed in for total body fitness.
